Tim Tebow is a true athlete and a true football player. As a sophmore, Tim won the Heisman Trophy making him the youngest player to win this award ever. He has led his Florida Gators to a national title two straight years as quarterback and played multiple positions the previous year the Gators won the title.
Not only is he a great athlete, he is also a great student and a great person. He recieves outstanding grades and is involved in church as well as youth programs. He also is a true leader and a true sport. This last season, the Gators lost to Ole Miss in the early part of the season and after the lose Tim had no one to blame but himself. He did not put any blame on anybody else on team except himself. He made a vow in tears after the lose that he would work harder and his team would work harder than anyone else in the nation. Not only did he say these bold words, but he backed them up with a national championship. No one team played harder or better than the Florida Gators after his news conference after the lose.
He is a great individual leader. Not only through his verbal speech but also through his actions. He obviously leads his team on the field since they won two national championships under his quarterback leadership but his volunteering and grades prove him to be a great leader off the field as well. He not only does an outstanding job on the field but he is not cocky about his impressive play.
In my opinion, there is not a better individual in college sports right now.
